What a great pleasure it was to have this opportunity to judge at this show. Thank you to the committee and exhibitors.

Generally I thought the standard was good, although the younger dog classes could have been better. There were a lot of heavily coated dogs especially in lower dog classes and where changing coat found quite a few knots & all bites were correct.

Minor Puppy Dog (3:0)

1 Sewell’s Pattishawl Just So Right For Kemelstowe, nice masculine dog of good size and shape, adquetate rib and strong loin. Moved steadily BPD & RBPIS

2 Soar & Lewis’s Potterdale Picture Star. Another very promising youngster with a lot of similar qualities as 1st but just not as settled.

3 Tennear Kirstancourt Kasanova

Puppy Dog (6:0)

1 Sewell’s Pattishawl Just So Right For Kemelstowe.

2 Bowden Subessen Echoes Of Power. Good head & eye colour, with pigment to match. Well coated of good texture, nice head & neck good lay of shoulder & length of rib. Steady on the move.

5 Kedzierski's Brodaty Blue Bayou

Junior Dog (7:1 abs)

1 Bowden’s Subessen Echoes of Power.

2 Handley Bargemon Beauford Tourer, Brown, great shape with very good length of rib and strong loin, just threw it on the move when he was a bit excitable, but calmed down in later classes.

3 Petersen Subessen Echoes Of Peace
4 Buckley's Whistbrae Wilbury Blues
5 Robson's Saskyadu Magical Wizard

Yearling Dog (4:0)

Limit Dog (5-1)

1 Glasspool’s Diotima From The Heart For Gildenmede. Cracking dog with striking head and expression, darkest of eyes & very masculine throughout. Well proportioned, strong forequarters, rib length good and strong in loin. Good muscle tone and effortlessly moved round the ring. Presented in immaculate condition BD & BIS

2 Pickup Pipadene Time To Recap. Very similar to 1st but just preferred 1st easier flowing movement, well muscled & presented.

Open (4-1)

1 Betts Pipadene Time To Review, gorgeous brown in immaculate condition, shown to perfection. Good head with matching eye colour, good shoulder placement & length of rib, nicely proportioned giving good shape, but didn’t feel he moved as freely as previous two class winners in these indoor conditions when it came to challenge.

2 Thorpe Claudalla Jacob Marley at Merrythorpe JW. Strong head & eye toning with coat, strong neck, good shoulder & length of rib, well muscled throughout. Litter mate to BB & quite similar, just masculine version.

3 Subessen Echoes Of Peace

Minor Puppy Bitch (6)

1 Brooks & Grundy Fraglestone Flockhart. Exceptionally pretty little bitch, just six months so has time to grown on a bit, but in correct ratio all the same, feminine head with soft expression, good in rib and loin, moved very positively for one so young.
